Daif Records One Year On

© Daif Records Daif Records celebrate their one year anniversary this month and look to build on a success of quality releases over the past twelve months. There are a lot of things going off with a very special free record for you all and a brand new remix competition.

My do the months go quicker and quicker. This time last year Daif Records were an unknown new label looking to get established within the dance industry and cracking out their first release. Twenty seven records later and one year the Label is getting stronger and bigger with that set to continue for the next twelve months. They have a fresh line-up of relatively new producers who's records have been popping up in some of the worlds biggest DJ's playlist's of late.

Daif are very much one of the new bread of record labels embracing the digital distribution route of releasing music with all their releases available from most of the major download stores. That is looking set to change for those who like their music a bit more physical. They will shortly be making available their whole back catalogue as well as future release available on CD, it saves you burning it for all those lazy folk out there.

FREE DAIF SINGLE

What better way to celebrate getting a year older than releasing a free single for you to enjoy? That’s what the team at Daif have done and they are giving away a full release by Mikael Sjoberg called 'Morning Sun'. The free single is available to download from the Daif web site and features a very tidy remix by KaltFlut who I have never heard of before in my life but have made a very euphoric and uplifting remix.

LIKUIDA REMIX COMPETITION

Budding producers get Ableton fired up as Daif are running a remix competition from the next Likuida single. He is otherwise known as Tragida and has had a few releases and remixes release on the label already. You know the drill with remix competitions by now, the best remix gets a release with the original. You only have until the 7th November to get your entry in so if you want a chance to put your remix forward send a mail over to remixcomp@daifrecords.com with the title REMIX COMP for the remix pack. The winners will be announced on the 1st December.

FORTHCOMING RELEASES

Daif seem to pump out new records like no tomorrow and they have three new releases scheduled for release before the end of December.

5th NOVEMBER: Energy Reflect Vs. Paul Miller - Ascend (DAIF025)
19th NOVEMBER: Mark Arbor - Unspoken Words (DAIF026)
3rd DECEMBER: Aimee B - Breaking Free (DAIF027)

All there is left to say is congratulations to Daif for pumping out some very good fresh trance music over the past year and may that success continue into next, I have a feeling it will.
