The latest club banger from Thomas Bronzewaer drops in on Paul van Dyk''s Vandit Label. Uplifting trance at its finest with a remix from Reaves & Ahorn.
Vandit releases are ones I always keep an eye oo. With the Label being Paul van Dyk's very own record label you know your going to get a good record with every release. Thomas Bronzewaer has had a few releases on Vandit already and this latest one is a real corker. You can see why Paul signed it to his label. The release features a remix from Reaves & Ahorn, a combination I have not heard of before but you can expect pumping trance all the way.
:: Original Mix :: Reaves & Ahorn Mix
The Original Mix is a joy to listen to from start to finish. The track is an uplifting big melody monster that starts off with a deep thumping beat and bass that sets you up form good things to come. There are nice rolling pads leading up to the main break that cuts the beat and feeds in a massive melody that builds and changes tone with big kicks popping in. The melody gets louder and louder and keeps building while the background sounds start to feed in with small drum rolls. Then one big drum roll and a stutter and the beat come back with the melody pumping away. A short break then back it comes with a good kick for good measure. This track is superb. The melody is deep and uplifting with the track having that good energy feel about it. The melody comes round a second time for good measure and its a joy to with drum rolls feeding it back into the track.
You can expect more pumping trance action with Reaves & Ahorn's Mix. The beat is harder from the kick off which sets the tone for the rest of the record. The basic structure that the original took is the same but the sound and patterns changed slightly. A small lead riff tinkers in at the beginning with the throbbing beat and sharp symbol kicks pumping away. Those kicks fade as the melody starts to slide in with the beat dropping off leaving just the melody. The melody has not changed its just a little more sharper in tone with background bass changes building the tempo. The beat comes back dubbed out and then pounds back into action with the main melody. The mix is harder than the original with a stronger beat but keeps the uplifting theme all the way. Great mix and one for those who want it a little bit deeper than the original.
Conclusion:
Another essential Vandit release with a cracking remix. It's not surprise that Sean Tyas has remixes this but I think these two mixes are the strongest making this a very worthwhile purchase. This is one to bang on at your works Christmas party, bollocks to that cheesy pop album, grab this.
