© Armind When thinking back of your favourite records of the year its always a struggle to remember those ones you know the sound of but forget the name. Armin brings you his Year Mix of 2007 to remind you of the essential audio of 2007.

It has been a great year for Trance music. There really have been some corking releases throughout this year and the genre is as strong as ever. The sound may have changed from back in the good old days and there is a fair bit of un inspiring material but the good stuff makes up for all that.

Armin van Buuren has had a pretty good year with a packed tour schedule, sell out live shows, the very succesful Armin Only and his new found status of being DJ Mag's number 1 DJ in the world. His A State of Trance radio show is a must listen to for all the best new Trance worth looking at to be featured on it. It's quite popular as it’s broadcasted on over 300 radio stations around the globe and attracts millions of listeners.

Each year Armin collects together his favourite records and put them all together over a double disc mix compilation. With a good forty records on each disc its just one track after another so none of your usual smooth laid out mixes. Its one big joyride and should remind you off some of the tracks that made you smile during 2007.
