A rather interesting little gem of a release this on Black Hole's 'In Trance We Trust Label' with a record to feature the vocals from Andain's Beautiful Things only the wrong way around. Worth checking out...
What do you get when you play Andain's classic record from a few years ago backwards? You get the vocals for a nice tidy little Trance release by Myon. Myon are in fact a band from Finland as that mighty dance database Discogs states but they had nothing to do with this record. The Myon alias is the brainchild of Hungarian producer named Mario Egeto, better known as the 'Orange Project'. He's done remixes for the likes of JES and Mark Norman so he knows his way around production equipment.
:: Original Mix :: Radio Edit
Just the one mix with this release and its a bit of an epic with it going on for a good nine minutes. No wonder he banged in a radio edit for those wanting the meat in what is a very tasty sarnie. The track is an epic flow of mellow smooth flowing trance using the gorgeous vocals to add a hint of uplifting nature about it. The vocals which is taken from Andain's record is used in reversed and works very well. Who would have thought to do such a thing you wonder and get away with it. The reversed vocals lead into the main break then play out in full to build up to a chord changes flute effected melody that just says 'relax me!'. The soft but sharpe beat pumps along with kicks and pads. It's got a little progresive feel about it this record which is more than likely why it goes on for a near ten minites. The relaxing uplifting hook lies with the vocal and building melody after each break.
Conclusion:
Great little record here. Just the one mix but one to slide into those relaxing chilled out section of your trance sets. I'm sure people wil go mad for the vocal in here, it works really well. Plus the addition of a radio edit is always a nice touch for those looking for a cheap thrill. It's out right now on ITWT!
