The second release on Sander van Doorn's new label delivers what I think we're all expecting from this exciting new venture...
:: Wardt - Show My Shuffle :: Doorn Records :: DOORN002
1) Show My Shuffle 'Show My Shuffle' kicks off with dark, moody bass and course synths punctuated with some wild shots of sfx. The rhythmic synths fit nicely with the bass, creating a unique groove to the track which makes it very appealing very early on. Even more mood is added with the use of some spacey synths in the background and this then leads up to the breakdown. This part is a long and drawn out build up of pretty monumental proportions, electrifying synths and shrill pads work things into an insane frenzy before the deep bass and prickly, rhythmic synths step back in and take firm control again. I enjoy the way this one hops between smooth groovy sounds and wild, frenetic mayhem. It's a track which will make a crowd move.
Conclusion:
Good to see another bit of decent tech trance from Doorn Records, with more stuff from Wardt on the way, keep an eye out...
