Coming from the people who brought you Monster Tunes, here's a new trancey release destined for Eternity Recordings from young Dutch producer Kasper Koman plus a remix from another up and coming producer, the German born Timo Praile...

:: Kasper Koman - Possessed
:: Eternity Recordings
:: ETR007

1) Possessed (Original Mix)

'Possessed' opens in an authoritative manner, cleanly and precisely. Decent pace, even percussion and early hints of smooth, trancey pads and synths bring this one to life quickly. A smooth and gentle melody played by a clean and clear synth coaxes you easily into the luscious ambient breakdown. Things chance, however, as a coarse and almost acidic element is applied to the bass. It pushes out a rhythm which injects a an extra level of energy to the track, which is just what is needed after the breakdown. This new, lively element later on shares time with the idyllic melody which balances things out very well.

2) Possessed (Timo Praile Remix)
Timo Praile has really spiced things up with this remix. The active bass, twitchy percussion and quicker beat make this a much faster paced and higher energy affair. The melody is still present in an energetic arpeggiated form but the highlight here as the track develops is the inclusion of some really massive pads. These are delivered to great effect after a short breakbeat section and from there on they easily command the track with their full bodied, thick and sumptuously trancey sound. Plenty of extra energy here thanks to the pace and the melody, but the quality pads provide the extra euphoria which really help to distinguish this production.

Conclusion:
Strong tracks from these young, talented producers. The choices before you are of high quality trance, either uplifting or energetic euphoria.
