 The very popular clubbing and dance music magazine Mixmag turns 25 years old this year. To celebrate this milestone they are holding a very special 25th Anniversary poll to decide the best in dance over the past 25 years.
Mixmag are a UK based dance music publication focused on bring you all the latest in the world of clubbing and dance music. Each month they have the latest clubbing news, features, interviews with the biggest DJ's and list over a thousand club nights for you to check out. Their clubbing directory is more or less the yellow pages for any dance fan looking for a good night out. Their cover mount CD's have been mixed by some of the worlds biggest and brightest DJ's with a new one each month full of fresh new music.
The magazine will be 25 years old this year, which is good going for any printed publication. It is one of, if not the biggest selling dance music magazine in the UK and is distributed worldwide. It's also my printed monthly weapon of choice for those tea and biscuit sessions mid morning. No better time for a celebration then with it being a landmark milestone.
There will be a massive Mixmag party but details of that have not been announced as yet. You could win free tickets to the event if you take part in their 25th Anniversary poll they are running. They want to know what have been the idols in dance music over the past 25 years for you in the following categories:

I think the hardest part will be picking just one as there has been a lot of dance music in the past twenty five years. The winners should hold a place on the hall of fame for being true legends of the dance scene. Style is no object so it could be anyone who produces what we file under dance music.
