Quite the large tracklist indeed. However at a glance you can tell quite quickly that this 'anthems' compilation might actually hold some merit - a lot of the tracks are decent and many are fairly under rated classics. Pretty much looking at all of the tracks, none of them really fall into the dreaded 'cheese' category.

CD1 has a long reach into the past, but a broad one. Most of these really are the under stated anthems, many of which you'll recognise and realise that 'yes, infact these were some really decent tunes'. The outstanding tracks - well, at least the ones that I find most appealing - have to be 'As The Rush Comes', 'Tears From The Moon', 'Superstring', 'On The Run' and 'Time Of Our Lives'.

CD2 goes further back and so you hear some of the age old golden classics like 'Greece 2000', 'Into The Night', 'Solarcoaster', '7 Days & One Week', 'Massive' (what a tune!) and Tiesto's mega hit, 'Suburban Train'. If anything, this is probably the weakest of the three discs since these are the tracks that are the usual suspects on anthem compilations such as these.

CD3 is the realm of the 'future' classics and something which I have quite an interest in for several reasons: there's going to be some good tracks here, it's good to see what current tracks appear to be making the transition from favourite to classic and it's also a market bound trance CD with some relatively new music on. The best picks here are 'Falling', 'Angel Falls', 'Riff', 'First Light', 'False Light' and Above & Beyond's melodic vocal monster 'Home'.

Conclusion:Overall, I have to give this one a thumbs up. There's a wide range of classics/anthems, lots of which aren't so blatant which is good. The third disc, with the recent 'future anthems', is a great listen and a pleasing addition to what is, essentially, yet another classics compilation.
