State side label Nervous Records will be releasing a brand new mix compilation next month compiled by Austin Leeds and the Starkillers. It's a taste of the New York nightlife in CD form..
Nervous Records are an American based dance music label with the likes of Austin Leeds, Nick Terranova, Ralph Falcon and Oscar G singed to them. They are one of New York City's legendary underground house music labels and one I have to say have not come across too many times. I have come across Austin Leeds and the Starkillers, otherwise known as Nick Terranova, a few times with their productions popping up in playlists everywhere.
They have been hammering away in the studio and are ready to release this brand new mix on the label called 'Nervous Nightlife'. It's a one disc mixed brimmed with exclusive tracks by the pair and offers an up to date account of what is floating their boat at the moment. The style is very much house staring off steady and building up the pace. The release also comes with a DVD which provides an insight into the clubbing scene in New York. Expect there to be behind the scenes footage of both Austin Leeds and Nick's dance music experiences with an insight into what to expect when having it large on a night out in the big apple. I've not seen any trailers to what's in the DVD but those things always prove to be an interesting watch.

An interesting little snippet from the press release on this states that Austin Leeds has just recently completed a remix of Binary Finary's classic '1998'. Although there have been dozens of remixes of the track already I would hope this would be one of the better ones. The mix should be released this summer so keep an eye out.
