Intuition Recordings Goes Fully Independant

Intuition Recordings are now an Independent label. The label was set up by Menno de Jong & Paul Moelands back in 2004 and has been working with Fundamental Recordings and United Recordings for the past three years. In the beginning of this year they made the choice to become a fully Independent label. What does that mean? It simply means they do not rely on any other label when it comes to releasing their music which should open up the freedom to release what they desire when they desire it.

The birth of this Independent stance will see the creating of two brand new sub labels. The main Intuition label will focus on uplifting trance but the brand new imprints Intuition Deep and Stellar Sounds will focus on other sounds. Intuition Deep will bring you progressive and deep moving trance while upholding the quality of the main brand with each release. Stella Sounds on the other hand is a different story. It has no genre specific boundaries so expect some unusual music to be release on this label including records from young talent looking to spread their music around the world. The decision for Intuition to go fully Independent can only be a good this for the dance music fan as there is a lot of new music to come from the label.

The first releases and the latest one on the main label will be available in June and should be good to buy from all the major online dance music distributors.

MENNO DE JONG ON RADIO ONE THIS WEEKEND

Judge Jules weekly explosion of dance this Saturday morning will feature an interview with Menno De Jong. He will be having a relaxed and chilled out chat with Jules on what he's been up to at the moment, his latest productions, forthcoming gigs, completing university and no doubt news on the Intuition label. Jules show is on BBC's Radio 1 this Saturday morning at 1AM. be sure to tune in if your not out and about having it large.

INTUITIONS's SUMMER FESTIVAL LINEUP

The annual Intuition Summer Festival returns again for this year over in Holland on the 26th July. The event will be held at Bloomingdale aan Zee which is in or around the Amsterdam area if my Geography tells me right. The full details are available on the event's web site. Tickets are on sale right now and can be ordered from the Intuition web site. The line-up is jam packed with quality trance acts.
