 The next installment of the In Search Of Sunrise compilation series will be hitting the shops once again mixed by Tiesto with this year the inspiration behind the release being Asia...
The In Search of Sunrise compilations are becoming a yearly occurrence with it not being that long ago since the last release which had an Ibiza theme. The compilation continued from Tiesto's previous 'Magik' series which had seven volumes with the last being recorded live in Los Angeles. He sought inspiration fro the city again with volume five in this series being named 'In Search of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles'. The series has sought some of the finest melodies in Trance music over its previous releases and its set to bring more with number seven.
The location which Tiesto toured while gathering and putting together the tracks for the new compilation played a big part in the whole feel of the album. He recorded the mix while on location and aims to create two very disguisable discs with the first being more house and techno based and the second being a fine blend of excellent Trance tinged with that Asia flavour. You can see the place where he recorded the mix with an interesting video diary on his web site offering his comments on his track selection for the new release. I'm sure every DJ would love to have that view when mixing together new compilations, sun, sea, sand, a private pool and a collection of records ready to be blended together as one.
There will be a new 'In Search of Sunrise Tour' as he has 35 gigs planned in North America to promote the release. As of now the track list for the compilation has not been released but you can expect it to be full of exclusives and un-released material. I would suggest looking into some of his latest sets, especially the ones while he was over in Asia as I’m sure many of the tracks he played in those will be featuring on the compilation. This one like the six before is an essential purchase.
