A masterpiece of tough uplifting electro tinged trance from Adam Nickey with Tom Cloud providing the remix. It's another little gem on Anjunabeats and one that should be in your record box...

Anjunabeats carry on past the hundred mark where they left off, pumping out the finest uplifting Trance they can get their hands on. This latest release does not disappoint in any way as they have signed another cracker. Adam Nickey is a producer from Poland with his first record only being release back in 2006. He's a new face on the scene which keeps getting stronger by the day and this is his second appearance on the Anjunbeats label with his first being a record called 'Never Gone'. He also producers under the 'Kai Del Noi' name which I did not know and his real name is Sebastian Wichary.

:: Original Mix
:: Tom Cloud Remix

I would suspect that the Original Mix will be the one that gets the most plays as its the one that caught my attention the first time I heard it. Think of this as a piano driven leading riff complimented by a pounding beat and chunky bass line that builds up to a melody and breakdown of orgasmic proportions. On the build up in here a female vocal echo's away the speaks introducing a sharp thumping beat and electric bass riff. There is a string driven piano lead fed in from the distance to the foreground while the atmospheric sounds create the mood. The use of the female vocal which may well be saying something in a foreign language but just sounds to me as its there for the effect leads the track into the breakdown. It's an uplifting sequence that introduces the main melody and builds back the rest of the track with rolling beats. The melody changes tone and creates that uplifting catch that keeps you going back for more. Turn this one up loud and it gets better with the melody hitting you even more. A slower piano taps during the main melody and as the beat breaks off the track returns to how it began with the tough electric riff and piano lead. Great use of piano strings and touches of female vocal make this one a joy to the ear.

Let’s flip things over and take a spin with Tom Cloud for his nicely produced remix. I've always had a feeling that Tom's remixes and productions have been always seems to be a bit 'soft' but his recent production work over the past few years has changed that. He's done some super tracks and has done a good job with this remix. The track is pretty simple in its elements. It's got an upbeat but soft edge'd beat with a punchy kick leading off it. The leading melody is bright and uplifting as its strings change note with them cutting off to leave the main melody to build. It has not been changed from the original with the female vocal leading the introduction of it. The leading melody that struts its stuff in the build up returns to add a different layer of uplifting pleasure to this mix and I'm sure uses a slight effect on it to give it that more punch. It does the trick though as without it the end of the melody would come across a little flat.

Conclusion:
One of my favourite records this one at the moment and its no surprises that its on the Anjunabeats label as they keep releasing superb music. The original is my pick here but I was surprised with Tom Cloud's remix but given his past releases I don't know why, he knows his away around producing equipment. I'd recommend picking these up as deserved to be. Good stuff.
