The legendary Sasha returns to the Global Underground label and on its way is volume number two in his Involver series. It's been four years since the first release and about time he came up with a sequel...
I forgot I had this one in the music collection but Sasha's original Involver album is a masterpiece and a superb showcase of his skills with production equipment. The first release featured a full on mix from Sasha, otherwise know as Alexander Cole and a second disc full featuring exclusive (at the time anyway) remixes.
Good news then Sasha fans as he has gone back to Global Underground who he released the original with and has done many a fine mix on their long running Global Underground compilation series. The formula has not been meddled with as it will be one super steaming CD of twelve mixed beauties from the likes of Radiohead, Ray La Montagne and Telefon Tel Aviv. The special edition will feature a second disc full of exclusive Sasha remixes. There have been no details of the tracklist as yet but I dont see that really matters as its Sasha.
The album will get the full launch party treatment with a gig at the Ministry of Sound in London on the 30th August. Sasha will be doing an extended live set at the event and will be joined by some familiar Global Underground faces Jim Rivers, Anil Chawla and a few others.
Release Date: Sometime in August
