Hard Dance master BK has been busy in the studio putting the finishing touches to a brand new album he likes to call 'The New Wave'. The album collects together the hottest new hard dance talents showing the scene is as strong as ever...
Ben Keen is his real name and no prizes for guessing how he came up with the alias BK. He has been involved in the harder side of dance music for quite a few years and he's name that sticks out amongst others for offering quality bosh. The last record I enjoyed annoying the neighbours with was his pumping collaboration with Vinylgroover called 'Microwave'. Tha track was on his last album release called 'Under The Influence' which featured solely BK tracks and collaborations.
It's time for something new and BK's latest album on its way features the very freshest hard beats on the hard Dance scene. The album is a collection of the biggest and brightest music talents on the scene with artists that BK feels are pushing the scene forward with fresh pumping new music. The clue is in the title I'd say. The likes of Sam Townsend. Storm promoter Garbo, Polysexual promoter Mark H, Teknikal alongside more established new comers including Andy Whitby, Alex Kidd, Kutski, Cally Gage and Vinylgroover all feature on the album. You can also find a cheeky bonus track with BK collaborator and very nice looking lady to boot Lisa Lashes.
"This album is all about the new - new DJs and new music by established DJs, it is a definitive look at who and what’s hot in hard dance in 2008. He goes on to say: As a producer I wanted to push myself and capture the sound of each artists and add my own unique touch and as a DJ I wanted a collection of tracks that would work on a multitude of harder dance floors from the ‘hardstyle’ parties in Holland to the sound of Frantic in London and everywhere in between." BK
If you want to know what’s been hot and what's getting hotter for 2008 in Hard Dance then you should get hold of this one when it breaks cover at the beginning of September.
Release Date: 1st September
