Join Paul for a very special party in the heart of New York City next month as he moved onto New York's Peir 54 for a night of quality electronic set amongst a gorgeous waterside backdrop...
For the past five years Paul van Dyk in collaboration with Made Event (Stateside club night promoters and event organisers) he has played in New York's Central Park to well over 10,000 music fans each time. I've never had the pleasure in attending any of those events but from a few videos I have had a look at they were definitely parties not to miss if you have the chance.
This year Paul is moving out of the Park and onto the Pier, away from the green grass and onto the blue water. Pier 54 in New York City is the new venue with Paul spinning a 4 hour set. The sound system is being custom built and designed just for Paul's event by a company called Integral Sound. You can expect the water to ripple as Paul's pumping beats vibrate through it for four hours. It's a solo set by Paul van Dyk and is part of is current VONYC Sessions world tour.
Historically, Pier 54 was considered one of New York's key launching spots for ocean liners and it even provided a point of origin for the Lusitania's first voyage. To this day, Pier 54's breathtaking original steel arch entrance greets visitors to what has become one of the city's largest performance spaces. Press Release
Tickets for the event are on sale right now price at $45. The event is on Saturday 16th August and kicks off at 4.30pm.
