Lange will be returning to the airwaves with his brand new radio show 'Intercity' this Wednesday on Afterhours.fm. It's a double dose of Lange every month with two one hour shows running each month. He’s also bringing out a new single to boot to...
We had to wait a good ten years for his solo artist album 'Better Late Than Never' but now the wait is over for a radio broadcast from Lange. He has hooked up with Internet station Afterhours.fm to launch his brand new radio show 'Intercity'. You may remember he brought out a record using that name a few years ago called 'LNG - Intercity' which was a wonderful piece of trance. If you don’t remember that track then check out our online store as it’s worth getting your hands on.
The show will be broadcast every second and fourth Wednesday of each month kicking off with the debut tomorrow (23rd July) at 20:00 GMT / 21:00 CET. The show will be one hour of music from the studio, record collection and DJ box of Lange showcasing what is floating Lange's audio boat at the moment. I'm sure if you like Lange's music you wont be disappointed with an hour of music mixed together by a producer who has created a fair few of my all time favourite trance records.
The new show will have its own dedicated web site over at www.intercityradio.com. On there you can find all the tracklistings for each show and be able to listen again to the broadcast if you miss it, very handy if you work evenings. You can also get it touch with the man himself with your thoughts on the show and any ideas you have for it.
NEW LANGE SINGLE & REMIXES
Even better news than a brand new radio show is that their is a new single coming from Lange. The new track is called 'Out Of The Sky' that features the gorgeous vocals of Sarah Howells and is taken from his debut album 'Better Late Than Never'. On the remix for it will be Kyau & Albert, Aly & Fila, Myon & Shane 54 and Glenn Morrison. I've not heard much from Shane 54 for a while so I'm please to see his name on the remix list for this one. The original track was one on his album that stood out for me with its uplifting guitar driven melody. It's been play listed by Paul van Dyk for one and popped up on Godskitchen's 'Underground' compilation.
The new single will be released on Maelstrom Records in digital form this month and get a full vinyl release in August who like their crackle with the music. The digital release will be distributed by Beatport on release but I'm sure other stores will add it in good time to. Aside from the new single Lange has done a new remix for a new Kyau & Albert record due out this Autumn and another remix off a track called 'Walk Away’ by Matt Cerf and Evelio Featuring Jaren. That one should be out on Deep Blue records right now.
All good news in the world of Lange then and for all the latest stuff pop by his official home on the web and check out his brand new show tomorrow evening.
