Tidy are looking for bright new producers to remix one of their records for a release on their monthly singles compilations. How do you fancy having your remix released on quite possibly the best Hard Dance label on the planet?
You won’t find any of Tidy's latest single releases on that old medium we know as Vinyl these days. They have gone all digital and upgraded to the futuristic world of compact disc. It might be sad for those who love the feel of the disc and the seductive crackle you get when placing the record on the turntable. The good news is Tidy now release their latest singles on monthly collections with the added bonus of a showcase mix CD put in for good measure.
They are due to release volume three this coming Monday and are running a remix competition for you talented Hard Dance producers to create a track for the November edition. The track that they are wanting you to sprinkle the production magic on is an old Tidy classic 'Shaun M & Abandon – Another Mans Language'. They will be including all the samples you could require on volume three of singles series, all you need is a little bit of creative thought and the ability to produce a track.
:: Closing date for entries is 9AM on October 6th. :: All entries must be submitted in WAV format. :: You must upload your finished mix to your web space or other file hosting service. :: Send your entries in to: info@tidy.com with the title 'TIDY MUSIC LIBRARY REMIX’ :: The competition is open to everyone! :: You can submit more than one remix under another alias if you wish. :: Sam Townend, Paul Maddox and Shaun M will be judging the remixes.
The winning remix will get a full release on volume 5 of Tidy's music Library which is due out in November. If I were a hard Dance producer I'd want my track released on Tidy as they are the dog’s privates of Hard Dance music labels. The singles collections are a really good idea two, although from memory they did start doing a singles collection on CD a few years ago alongside 12" presses. Go get creative and see if your remix cuts the mustard!
