Here's the latest news and info on everything Solarstone...
‘R.S.E.’ Singles News! Ferry’s been hammering it. So have Above & Beyond. Paul van Dyk, Oakey, Dave Spoon & Markus Schulz, meanwhile have all given it a right good spanking! We're talking about ‘Spectrum’ of course; the third ‘singulus colossus’ taken from ‘RainStarsEternal’! With remixes from Duderstadt & Santiago Nino lining up alongside the special ‘Parts 1&2’ extended version, this is not one to miss peoples! The digital download is out now and the vinyl release follows at the end of this month! The early birds among you can grab promo CDs and 12” from the SolarShop. Next album track to go under the single spotlight will be ‘Lunar Rings’, with re-rubs from Heatbeat, Tritonal, Santerna and an extra special extended album version from Mr Mowatt, himself! Yum-Yum-Dim-Sum!
Sept. On Solaris International To commemorate the baton-pass from Deepblue Radio to Solaris International, the show is fielding a month of special ‘International’ guest DJ mixes (see what they’ve done there!?!). Argentina’s Heatbeat, Andy Power from The Ukraine, Bas & Ram for Holland & Timbuktoo’s Lemon & Einar K are all lined up to deliver some great DJ mixes. If you’ve not yet checked out this week’s show, it is no more than a hop, skip and a click away, and is positively heaving with great music. Your ears never had it so good! Also, while you’re listening, don’t forget to interact via the forum to let us know your favorite track each week!
DJ Mag: Countdown To The Poll Close Begins! 8 Days, 11 Hours, 55 Minutes and, oooh, 22 Seconds… That’s how much time there was left to vote in the DJ Mag 2008 Top 100 poll last time we checked and it stands to reason there’s even less now (hoho!). If you’ve been holding off to the last moment before casting your vote, keep our floor-rocker-in-chief Solarstone in mind. And if for any reason you’ve not yet checked-out the (rather ace) ‘What Are You Feeling’ promo video on the SolarSite head over there now and take ‘The Goose Bump Test' (™)!!!
Next up on insatiable & Solaris Recordings… Two hot new offerings to keep an eye out from the twin labels of Solarstone (which are kind of like twin suns, but just that tiny bit brighter and hotter!). Already 5/5 in DJ Mag (who called it “music to stargaze to…!”), Stan Void’s ‘Transience’ is out on Solaris on December 12th... Over on the insatiable Recordings tip, Haris C & Anthya’s ‘My Angel, which has been getting maximum props from Ferry Corsten & Solarstone (natch!) is forthcoming on October 27th.
Solarstone komt naar Nederland! Rather unusually for a UK Trance artist Rich has been more than a little busy in The Netherlands’ this last year. So much so that we’re wondering whether to re-christen him ‘Solar van Stone’ (joke lovely Netherlands people! – please don’t flood the forums!). After touching down on the Dutch shores 5 times already this year, he’s still got the big one to come before Christmas. Full-On-Ferry falls on the 1st of November. Tickets are available through the Paylogic system at fullonferry.com and at www.udc.nl. You can also order tickets via Ticketservice (www.ticketservice.nl) or purchase them locally at all Free Record Shop, Primera and Midtown locations in The Netherlands.
