The latest single from Guiseppe Ottaviani delivers euphoric ectasy of an epic proportion on Vandit Reocrds, remixes from John O'Callaghan, Galidator and Jon O'Bir make up the audio orgy. This one is hot...
Since Guiseppe Ottaviani went solo and broke away from his Nu-NRG project he worked on with Andrea Ribeca he has become a real star winthin dance circles. His individual tracks and remixes have been spot on time after time and really has his own stamp with the sound he uses in them. You dont hear much of Andrea Ribeca these days though, who kows where the other Italian that created one of the greatest Trance music forces is these days. The rise of Guiseppe continues with this latest release on the mighty Vandit label with remixes from two of Trance music's current twinkling stars and the vocal talents of Stephen Pickup.
Release Date: OUT NOW!
:: Original Mix :: Gladiator Remix :: John O'Callgahan Remix :: Jon O'Bir Remix
I've been waiting for this release ever since the middle of Summer when stood in a tent with thousands of other Trance fans Paul van Dyk played one of the most uplifting tracks I've heard for a while. At the time I had no idea what the track was until Paul's Cream Ibiza mix compilation hit my CD player. The Orginal Mix was there as it was live on the night and the state of euphoria came flooding back in waves. Guiseppe has crafted together one of the most uplifting melodies that builds from the start of the track and reaches a peak right in the middle with a big room vocal that gels it together. The opening beat is strong and to the punch with a synth string leading in the opening running riff. The sounds all build with what’s a floated stab of the pleasure that’s to come sifted in before the beat breaks away and the melody starts to gather speed. When it does your pants will surly explode with pleasure as its huge. The deeper bass driven waves float in as the vocal starts to go for it. The main melody hits in big time before a slight cut away that follows with a drumroll leading to the beat pumping back into action. The changes in the melody really make this track so uplifting and really give it the feel good factor.
The remixes on this one are from some of the current hi flyers in the Trance scene with JOn O'Bir just releasing his debut artist album not so long ago and Irish jock John O'Callgahan having a few very sound releases of his own. John O'callgahan adds a bit of spice with his mix fitting a chugging bass line on the build up and using a different sound on the melody. It's not so much an epic break but a short break off that leads with a sythn changed flowing melody. I've head this one if a few of John's sets and it really is a good remix. Jon O'Bir keeps the pace pumping with his remix that follows the trend of the original with its build and melody delivery. It's just got a different edge to it that makes it appeal though but its the pick of the remixes for me as it keeps the disgustingly uplifting vibe the original created. The Gladiator remix goes a little deeper and has a softer feel than the other mixes. The melody is tweaked and floats over a background aroma of dreamy synths.
Conclusion:
This is what Vandit made there name on by releasing records of pure quality. Paul knows a good melody when he hears one and Guiseppe has done the business here. I love it and I'm sure many other Trance fans will to. The original and Jon O'Bir's mixes are the ones to bang on here.
