More MN2S news... As one door closes another opens, but not before the mother of all send off parties. The impending closure of London’s premier nightclub The End will see the end of a hugely successful nine year residency for MN2S. The closing celebrations will be led by the hit making hands of Sandy Rivera, Ron Carroll, Joey Negro, Nick Bridges, Danism, CJ Mackintosh, The Jinks, Daley Padley and Hauswerks...
Heading up the bill will be none other than Sandy Rivera. The same Kings of Tomorrow star who headlined MN2S’ first ever event at The End nine years ago. Sandy Rivera has steadily carved a successful niche for himself as one of house music's most innovative craftsmen with an impressive collection of remixes, His highly acclaimed production “Finally” featuring Julie Mcknight went on to be crowned Ibiza anthem of the year in 2006. After tearing up dance floors all over the world last summer with “Lollipop” and more recently “Freak” featuring Haze, there’s no doubt that Sandy Rivera will be sending The End’s strutting stage up in smoke. Where better to start with a story than at the beginning.
Joining Sandy in the main room will be Ron Carroll. His most recent super hit “Walking Down The Street” (The Nike song) took this summer by storm tearing up dancefloors everywhere. His latest collaboration with Axwell & Bob Sinclair “What A Wonderful World” is currently Radio One playlisted, a sure sign for another smash hit. Ron Carroll is a Chicago-based singer, songwriter, producer/remixer and well respected DJ who’s well known for his versatility and ability to rock crowds worldwide.
An MN2S party wouldn’t be an MN2S party without their residents Joey Negro and CJ Mackintosh keeping things soulful in the lounge. Playing a sweet cocktail of house, disco and all else that is groovy Joey and CJ are sure to have shapes popping and locking all over the floor.
Taking things a little bit darker 1Trax the sister label of MN2S will be hosting AKA for the first time as we welcome some new faces as well as return to some old ones. Daley Padley and Hauswerks are two of the latest 1Trax affiliates and we can’t to hear what they can do. Daley has just completed a more than successful summer circuit, smashing supper clubs worldwide not to mention his collaborations with the likes of Sander Kleinberg, Roger Sanchez, Seamus Haji and Michael Gray to name a few.
Hauswerks has been producing dance music for over eight years and this is clearly demonstrated in the quality of product he supplies, both in the studio and behind the decks. Hauswerks productions play a big part in his recent success,, his signature techy beats and grooving basslines have grabbed the attention of many key DJ’s.
And to bring the room to a deep and shady finish we have the highly acclaimed Nick Briges, part responsible for the 2006 smash hit ‘yeah yeah’ which became the anthem of 2006 at the Miami WMC, Ibiza and all over the UK. With specialist radio support from Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Fergie, Dave Pearce, Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley, Annie Mac, Edith Bowman, Annie Nightingale, Sarah Cox and Trophy Twins on Radio One alone, 'Yeah Yeah' smashed into the UK national chart in November 2006 at number 2.
Amid this whirlwind of DJ royalty MN2S residents Danism and The Jinks will be keeping the mix funky and sweet. Don’t miss MN2S as they bid a fond farewell to The End before kick starting a brand new residency next year.
