So what’s on the album? Armin’s taken his inspiration from his annual Armada season out in Ibiza, making this the third Beach / Club collection to come from the A State Of Trance compilation series.
“I heard all these beautiful lounge compilations and I thought, why not do that in a trance way?” Armin explained. “It’s the ultimate album to take on holiday or when you travel. CD1 is on the beach, the tunes are more mellow; CD2 is the harder stuff, preparing you for your night out in a club or festival.”
All the tracks on the album are favourites of Armin’s, but stand out tunes for him include ‘Certitude’ by Thomas Bronzwaer, First State’s remix of ‘Unforgivable’, ‘Lost’ by Sunlounger and the new Stoneface & Terminal smash, ‘Blueprint’.
