© Trance Awards The 4th Annual Trance Awards were held at a packed Ministry of Sound club last week and the results are now in. 20,000 votes were placed from regions all over the globe to make the awards it's biggest so far...

There are many awards within the Dance music scene but the annual Trance Awards, which had its 4th incarnation last week, is one of those dedicated to the style of Trance. The awards asks music lovers from all over the world to express their opinion on who has been their favourite artist, album, record and many other categories from the past twelve months. With so many new records, albums and events its a tricky decision narrowing it down to just a few never mind one.

This year's awards were held at the Ministry of Sound owned Gallery nightclub in London last week and at the event they announced all this years winners. Paul van Dyk had a good haul of votes this year taking the best DJ and producer awards with his own label Vandit winner the best Label. There are no surprises that Armin van Buurens 'A State of Trance' won the best radio show but he came out on top of the album war with his 'Imagine' release being voted best album.

Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren did very well this year and its surprising to see Tiesto named as the best remixer. I can only recall a few good remixes he's done this year, he's not done many.
