The Global Underground series will see its thirty sixth release at the beginning of next year with the latest instalment to be mixed by Darren Emerson...
The Global Underground compilation series has been in existence since the late ninety's and has had thirty five releases to date. The series is a very well respected one with only the finest dance music being featured from hard House to Techno. Sasha, John Digweed, Deep Dish and the late Tony De Vit have all had releases in the series.
Each compilation is based around a city with the last release having Lima as its inspiration. Nick Warren put together a very fine blend of progressive house for that release. The next release is already set in stone and will be mixed together by Underwater label boss Darren Emerson with what I can imagine will be a very techno inspired mix. The inspiration for this mix comes from Bogota which is a city in Columbia.
There has been no news of a tracklisting as yet but the compilation will be released on the 9th February. Darren will be on tour during February, March, April and May promoting the release with gigs across the UK and over in the states. One to pen in your diaries as Global Underground compilations very rarely disappoint.
