2008's Top 100 DJs – The Last Word!
With three albums already tucked safely under his belt, DJ Shah sealed the deal for ‘08 by busting into this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 chart. Roger came in at No.58 and also, significantly rose up to No.38 on the DJ List. After such a massive year, well you can just mark him up as “delighted”! If you put the name ‘DJ Shah’ in any one of those precious voting boxes, or came out to see him play this year, he wants to say a great big ‘thank you’ and looks forward to seeing you in ‘09! ‘Magic Island - Music For Balearic People’
You noticed we said THREE albums there… Well the ‘Magic Island - Music For Balearic People’ compilation has just hit the shelves in all is warm, melodic glory. Roger’s final love-letter to the white isle (for this year at least!), the album also acts as the perfect preview to Magic Island’s future stock. You can get your copy of the CD (and a rather lovely red logo t-shirt if you’re interested!) of ‘Balearic People’ now by hitting the Magic Island Shop.

‘Lost’ Out In Time For Christmas!
Featuring the honeyed tones of Zara, Sunlounger’s second single from ‘Sunny Tales’ gets its full release this month. ‘Lost’ has built up a huge head of steam with Top 10 DJs Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz & Armin (who featured it on his ‘ASOT 2008’ compilation) all giving it a right, nice spanking club-side! The remix package boasts killer rewires from Aly & Fila and Andrelli & Blue and the track is out on the 22nd of December.

DJ Shah Becomes Roger Shah
As of this month DJ Shah will be changing his artist name to ‘Roger Shah’. If you’ve seen him perform this year, well chances are that you’ll have recognized that you’re watching just that: a fully-fledged performance. With his incorporation of pianos, synthesizers and more alongside the traditional decks ‘n effects, you’re looking at something more akin to a live act. Hence Shah has taken the decision to lose the ‘DJ’ prefix and will go under the honest-to-goodness name his mum gave him… Roger Shah. The new Website will be online soon!

In The Clubs / Forthcoming Gigs.
With no let up in sight, Roger has been kept plenty busy with his spot-rocking, globe-circumnavigating activities. November saw him play at major events including Godskitchen Fantasyland in Scotland, Masago Beach in Taiwan and his debut gig in Buenos Aires in Argentina. At the end of December he will be playing the now legendary Sunburn Festival in Goa and for N.Y.E. he’s in Canada for the White Party.
