The Solarstone team are looking to start a very unique and exclusive online community for the fans of their music. The forum based gathering is far more than just a place for fans to get the latest material but leaves its members with exciting choices to make...
The Solarstone name is really the work of just one very talented UK based producer called Richard John Mowatt and he has produced some of the definitive Trance records ever released. Following on from the success of his 'Rain Stars Eaternal' album, which was one of last years best artist albums. The latest single from Solarstone is taken from that album with 'Lunar Rings' which has been remixed by Heatbeat and Prospekt. This year will see brand new releases from Solarstone and the network of Solaris and Insatiable records.
It seems the team over at Solarstone would like to get you involved in the running of the labels and music through a new inventive community they have called 'Swarm'. The idea is to have a forum based membership which provides those signed up with exclusive material from not only Solarstone but its army of recording artists connected to the labels. The decisions on what tracks to go into radio shows, which remixes to be released with tracks could all come down to you deciding for them. That is just the tip of the iceberg on what Swarm will offer:
:: Upfront access to previews of Solarstone & Solaris tracks & remixes, even before the A list DJs get them. Check out all the mixes of the forthcoming single 'Lunar Rings' in the player to the left - these have not even been sent to the A-list Djs yet! We want your feedback on them, and a decision on which mixes will make the vinyl cut. A poll is running in the solarSwarm Forum. :: Swarmers will play a part in deciding who does the guest mixes on the Solaris International show. :: Swarmers will help make final decisions on which remixes get released, are played on the show and are signed to the label. :: Swarmers will help judge competitions, (like the current Trance.nu ‘Electronic Architecture’ ‘Next Big Thing’ search). :: 3 Swarm members will get VIP entrance to each forthcoming Solarstone International gig.
It all sounds very inventive and for those of you wanting to get the inside information before anyone else its a rare opportunity to do so. You could get your hands on the latest Solarstone track even before Paul van Dyk does. In any case its a great idea to bring fans together and make the music that gets released even better. To sign up to become a member of the 'Swarm' all you have to do is pop over an e-mail expressing why you wish to do so. I'm sure you can think of a fitting reason so get involved.
