There's been a lot of very good music coming out of the Armada network of labels in the past few months and the good music will conitune into this year. One record worth highlighting is a 2009 update of a Storm classic...
Jam & Spoon where the team behind the 'Storm' project which burst onto the scene back in the late 90's with the excellent 'Storm' and 'Time To Burn'. Very sadly Jam & Spoon no longer produce but their music is still very much alive and kicking. The Armada label will be releasing a 2009 edition of 'Time To Burn' with all new mixes.
Brace yourself and hold on tight, for the 2009 remake of epic club thrasher ‘Time To Burn’ is going to crash into your system! Yes, it’s time to burn.
Storm, one of the many alter ego’s of German producer duo Jam and Spoon, first released this flamethrower back in 2000 and Armada Music now brings you the 2009 version of this techy club anthem. Dutchman Rowald Steyn has left quite an impression with his ‘King Of My Castle 2009’ remake and is ready to kick it some more with this one. Like the original version, ‘Time To Burn 2009’ is a true dance floor destroyer with a housy taste to it. Be sure to check the official video that comes along with it! Armada Music
The one thing they forgot to mention was when this was going to be released but I would say very shortly. They have posted a preview of the new mix by Rowald Steyn up on their YouTube page so you can check out the new version for yourself. The new mix is more on the House side than the original Trance mix of 2000.
ALSO OVER AT ARMADA
You can find an interview with vocalist Cat Martin who provided the vocal magic in Dave Graham's brand new record 'Love Always Fades', which is worth checking out as its a great release. The interview is a great insight into the world of a very talented lady who just loves Trance music.
Markus Schulz has posted his weekly blog with commentary on his past 7 days jet setting around the globe to various DJ gigs. he has been in the studio working on a new project that he can't disclose at this time but is nearing the finishing touches. As with a lot of Americans it seems Markus does like his NFL football but I'm sure if it was the choice of a peak time set at Pacha or the game he would be on the mix every time....or would he? Read all about it in his new update.
There are some very hot new releases this week to check out from Armada with new records from David Forbes. Tenishia, Robert Burian and Monogato. Thats not the last of the new stuff as there are more new exclusives to be released this week from M>I.K.E, Rex Mundi, Arnej, Arnej, Bissen, Simon & Shaker and Umek!
It's all go over at Armada this week.
