Last year we saw an explosion of new productions from Sean Tyas and that trend continues on into this year. It's been announced that will be recording a very special mix for one of the worlds most prestigious radio show, The Essential Mix...
He is one of the new breed of Trance music producers around today but his production list goes back to 2006 when he first burst onto the solo scene with 'Mirella'. His talents have improved immensely over the past few years and he continues to push his high energy style of Trance to the limit. You might note the pumping 'Lift', banging 'One More Night Out' and the downright uplifting remix he did of Bobina's 'Lighthouse' record. Sean is a producer very much on the rise and with so many productions and remixes already in his armoury you always look forward to the next.
It's with no surprise then that Sean has been picked by Radio 1 to record a continuous two hour mix for their legendary radio show 'The Essential Mix'. It's a show that any DJ, producer and record label feel proud to have their mix, production and record featured on. The likes of Sasha, Paul van Dyk, Carl Cox and 'Mauro Picotto', just to mention a few, have put together mixes to showcase their talents to millions all over the globe. The great thing is about the Essential mix is it covers a whole host of styles from Electronic dance music but it only picks the best artists to produce the mixes. Sean's mix will be aired on the 14th February (3AM - 5AM GMT).
We will be having a word with Sean in the next week to get his thoughts of appearing on one of the worlds most prestigious and renowned radio shows and to see what he's unto at the moment. In the mean time be sure to check out his recent releases, with one from last year you should not be without 'life', a track originally produced by Ben Gold but remixed superbly by Sean.
In the pipeline for this year he has already produced a remix of Adam Nickey's latest release 'Slider', which is out now on Anjunabeats and his latest solo production 'Melbourne' that came out a week or so ago on Discover Records. He's at it again with the remixes so keep a look out for a Sean Tyas remix of the Signum classic 'Second Wave' and a remix of Push's 'Interference' single. Both those productions will be release on Armin's Armada label.
