It's been a while since the last release but one of Trance most treasured compilations is soon to see its thirteenth release on Black Hole Recordings. Carl B is the man put in charge for the latest release...
It's the return of one of the most well known music compilations in the Trance community and quite possibly one of the finest. It can only be 'In Trance We Trust' which has been one of Black Hole Recordings longest running compilations to date. The first release was over ten years ago with Dutchman Misja Helsloot putting together a superb mix of the latest Trance around at the time. Since then the series has been mixed by DJ Stigma, Lars Holte, Johan Gielen, Cor Fijneman, Mark Norman and Phynn. You may think where did number ten in the series go? That was a very special double disc edition dubbed 'Collectors Edition 1' which had a DJ mix from Cor Fijneman and collection of unmixed tracks to feature in the previous nine releases.
The last compilation saw a return to the series for Johan Gielen and was released back in 2007. Since then the only releases have been on the 'In Trance We Trust' single label with some great releases last year like the excellent Myon - 'Albion' and new records from Tom Cloud. The time is set for another compilation and for this one they have picked one of the new breed of Trance artists allready making waves on the scene, the Scandinavian Carl B. the new mix will be a fourteen track epic with new records from Jonas Steur, Cor Fijneman, Fred Numf and First State with some new artists you may not be aware off. Its an essential compilation and looks to be a worthy addition to one of Trance music's finest compilation series.
