Here is all the latest news coming straight out of Vandit HQ this month. Brand new records from kuffdam, Activa, Jo Micali and word that Guiseppi will be mixing the latest Technoclub compilation...
There are some very exciting records coming out this month from the legendary blue and white label known as Vandit. The German based label is home to Paul van Dyk and has been releasing quality electronic dance music for well over ten years. The main label is pushing close to its 100th release and the digital arm, which was launched just under a year ago, is now up to its 43rd release. The label is up for another nomination in this year’s International Dance Music Awards for Best Label and with its back catalogue of releases it’s easy to see why.
We have already had excellent releases from Alex M.O.R.P.H. this year on both the labels with his latest release 'Photograph' being a chilled uplifting vocal edge trance affair with a slamming remix by Jonas Hornblad. He will be releasing an artist album this July so keep your eye out for that.
On with the latest release:
VANDIT RECORDS
Kuffdam - Burning Up Here's a brand new solo production from Kuffdam. You may know him more for being part of Kuffdam and Plant who have had a few good releases as a duo but its time for Kuffdam to start pushing his solo stuff. This is also the first single from his debut artist album 'Network' which will be released this month. Remixes from Greg Downey and Starkillers & Austin Leeds will be on the release. :: VANDIT 089 :: Release Date: OUT NOW!
ALBUM: Kuffdam - Network The debut artist album from Kuffdam is ready for release with brand new records by Kuffdam himself and featuring three of the best collaborations as Kuffdam & Plant. You can expect the dark uplifting style bursting through with each track and with his latest single 'Burning Up' that’s deeply delightful. This one is already red hot on the release radar and quite essential for any Trance enthusiast. :: VANDIT 090 :: Release Date: 21st February
Activa - Rise Above / Get On With It There have already been some great music coming out by Activa this year already and a smashing compilation on Discover Records with the latest 'Live As...' release. His banging style to Trance and rumbling melodies have been pleasing music lovers for some time now and his latest release will be dropping in on Vandit. Expect to find two very driving bassline driven tracks here with that added Activa sparkle that makes them so appealing. :: VANDIT 091 :: Release Date: 26th February
VANDIT DIGITAL
Dazzle - Relativity Single track release from Dazzle hats been very big in Paul van Dyk's playlists in recent weeks. Tyler Michaud is on remix duty for this one. :: VANdig040 :: Release Date: OUT NOW!
Derelict - Nowadays Hidden in this gem is a melody to put a smile on anyone’s face. Derelict has created a smooth melodic trancer here but expect things to be notched up a pace with a remix by Reaves & Ahorn. :: VANdig041 :: Release Date: 10th February
Jo Micali - Euphoria More superb Trance action with remixes from Cesar Lugo, Liam Melly and Indecent Noise. :: VANdig043 :: Release Date: 20th February
GUISEPPE OTTAVIANI COMPILATION
You may have wondered what the former Nu-NRG start Guiseppe Ottaviani has planned coming up. Wonder no more as he will be mixing the latest Technoclub compilation that has been confirmed for a March release. On the remix front he will be putting his skills to good use and giving Markus Schulz's 'The New World' the full Guiseppe treatment. That one should break cover before the end of this month.
