© Vandit The countdown until Alex M.O.R.P.H.'s debut artist album gets released has already begun with it set to break free in June. Before that Vandit want you to design the cover artwork for it...

Have you ever looked at the cover of an Album you bought and thought you could have created a better looking one with only two colours and one toe for a paintbrush? Well, maybe not along those exact lines but you sometimes look at a cover and think "I could have done a better job than that". It's not that often things like the Cover artwork are left to the members of the public to have a crack at but its becoming the norm in dance, you may remember Oceanlab running a competition to create a music video for their new single.

Not everybody is handy with a camera but I'm sure most of you have some artistic talents hidden away. Vandit and Alex M.O.R.P.H. certainly do and that is why they are running this very intriguing competition for you to design the artwork for Alex's debut artist album 'Purple Audio' which will be hitting the stores this June. It's not just the cover of the album the winning artwork will feature as it will be used for Alex's album tour, merchandise lines, promotional material and the album presentation. It's a really good competition and not one I've seen any of the big labels throw open to the public, especially a debut one from one of Trance music's most exciting talents.

So, how do you fancy having your design sat alongside other dance music releases online, in all good music stores (If they are good they will stock this album, if they don’t I'd not even bother going in.) and having you and five of your mates VIP passes to a very special Vandit Night in Berlin during May? That will be a yes then. The only things you need to remember when putting your cover together is:

Must Appear
- Artist name: Alex M.O.R.P.H. (use this exact spelling)
- Album name: Purple Audio

You can use images of Alex and his Logo's but only the ones provided by Vandit in this pack. Your design should be 1000 x 1000px (72dpi) and submitted in .JPG format.

There are no limits to what your design is so let the creativity run wild. It could be how the energy of Alex's music makes you feel or what you think gives a good image representation of what to find in his new album, it really is up to you. The only other things to note is the deadline for entries is the 14th April and you should upload you design using this form on the Vandit site.
