 You might have heard mutterings that Marco V will be dropping an artist compilation this summer, I certainly have. The announcement has finally been made and 'Propaganda' will be dropping sometime in May...
The turn of the Millennium saw the birth of a new star amongst Trance music circles with Marco V bursting onto the scene with 'In Charge' and later following it up with another early smash of his 'Godd'. The tech trance producer from Holland has been bringing fresh music to the scene ever since those early releases and is firmly one of the scenes biggest producers. He's quite handy behind a mixer two these days with clubbers flocking from all over the globe to get a taste of his fast flowing tech driven sets. He has already been on the album release list this year with Marco mixing together the third 'UnFold' compilation series that was released in Holland.
His' last artist album came a good three years ago with the excellent 200V which featured the likes of 'Red, Blue, Purple', 'False Light', 'Second Bite' just to name three. The time is right for a new artist offering and judging from the past two new singles he's released the album looks sure to be more Marco V gold. The first single on the album you might find familiar is the tech smash 'Coma Aid' that Marco released at the beginning of this year. The superb stop start nature filled in with a sparkling electric melody made it a very good track. The other tracks on that release 'Treviso' and 'Journey Into Sound' both feature in here two. The rest of the album is all fresh new stuff with a few I'm sure being dropped into Marco's recent DJ sets.
The new album will not only feature what I'm sure will be superb music there will also be an included Marco V comic book designed by one of the world's leading comic illustrators on the globe. What editions of the album there will be remains unknown at the moment but it's looking a one disc dosage for Marco's third artist album. You should get this one on the calendar pronto!
