 If your summer plans can't stretch to flying out to Spain this year and your wondering where to get some Ibiza flavour here in the UK then Gatecrasher may have find a solution to your problems...
You can never re-create the atmosphere of Ibiza wherever you are in the World but there is definitely no harm in trying to bring you some of that Spanish flavour if your here in the UK this summer and not off on a plane for all the madness. That is the idea behind a new club night set up by the legendary club brand Gatecrasher who still have a good spread of clubs and events kicking off this year even with the absent 'Summer Sound System'.
They are holding what they like to call a 'Festival of Ibiza' for 14 weeks during this summer at their Midlands based Gatecrasher Birmingham club. The event is set to bring together some of the biggest DJ's, brands and club nights taken from Ibiza club life. The names Cream, Manumission, Pacha, Amnesia and Space should all be very familiar to anyone who has been over their in the summer. It is almost like they have just plucked the Ibiza nightlife on a plane and landed it right in the middle of the UK for those looking to get a taste of what they are missing out on over there. I'm sure the club will be touched up for the events but one thing they can't bring over with them is the scorching sunshine so clubbers will have to put up with the variable UK weather.
They have announced three dates so far on the event which starts on the 24th May.
24th May: LAUNCH PARTY
Faithless, Sebastian Ingrosson, Laidback Luke, Dirty South, Jason Bye and Jimmy Kennedy.
30th May: LOVE ZOO
Jason Herd, Kiddo, Jimmy Kennedy, Rodknee & LoveZoo
6th June: CREAM IBIZA TOUR
Taul Paul, Brandon Block, John Ulysses, Pete Gooding & K-Klass
13th June: HED KANDI
Fierce Angel With Mark Doyle, Steve Edwards (Live) & Jimmy Kennedy
