Who doesn’t know the name Global Underground? If you don’t, then it’s time to go out, to the record shop and ask what Global Underground is. Because they are back, and how … ?
After their little sidetrack with the NuBreed series, that had DJ’s who were making a name for themselves, like Sander Kleinenberg, Anthony Pappa, Steve Lawler, Danny Howells and Lee Burridge, the ‘Boxed Boys’ have decided that it was time for a new project called ‘Lights Out’. The first CD will be mixed by no one else then Steve Lawler, so we can expect a nice slice of progressive music thrown at our head.
And the NuBreed series is doing great too, with a new installment coming in the next months (rumoured to be may/april) done by Satoshi Tomiie. You probably will ask yourself who he is. He is famous for his productions like ‘Atari’, ‘Up In Flames’, ‘Virus’, ‘Love in Traffic’ and others. And he has been noticed for his DJ skills, which is more then adequate for the NuBreed series. I can’t wait till this gets released.
Also Global Underground 022 – Dave Seaman Live In Melbourne is on it’s to a recordstore near you. This will be released soon during April! So all you progressive addicts, it’s time to save some money, because you have a lot of buying to do.
