The Brand New Cream Ibiza Compilation

© Cream Cream returns for another action filled summer over in Ibiza and so does their trusty compilation series to warm you up for it. This year Sander van Doorn and the return of Eddie Halliwell will be putting together mixes for it...

If there is one night you have to check out while over on the party island that is Ibiza then it's definitely Cream's Thursday night gig at Amnesia. The night has been running for well over ten years now and been one of the most popular nights on the Island. The mighty Paul van Dyk has been spinning there on Thursdays for a fair while and back in 2002 clubbers were treated to Tiesto's on the same night. The club may have had a few changes since back then and is a very impressive venue with over 5000 clubbers able to party inside its confines. This year the night will be broadcast from 12am - 4am live on spanish station Sonica Radio so even if your not there you can still hear whets going off.

The annual compilation series is back with a return for Eddie Halliwell who mixed the 2006 and 2007 editions. He is joined by Sander van Doorn who is one of the residents at Cream along with Eddie this year. Paul van Dyk's compilation last year was a very good one and he returns as a resident this year as well but is only playing a few dates during the summer. Eddie's mix is an example of what you can expect with his new ED-it club experience with 22 tracks all mixed and chopped up as only Eddie knows how. Sander pushes in on the send disc with his blend of tech trance and whacks in 20 tracks with his mix. They are mixes featuring tracks you will no doubt be hearing over the summer if you’re lucky enough to be attending one of the nights. There are a lot of new tracks in there and Eddie's edits are always interesting to hear so it’s a compilation worth checking out.

It's worth noting that the opening night for this year's Cream Ibiza is this Thursday with Ferry Corsten and Sander van Doorn headlining the opening night.
