Poland's largest dance music festivals was looking for a smoking hot new theme tune for this year's event. In order to create some smoke they enlisted the help of Rank 1...
The Sunrise festival is a two day dance music extravaganza attracting some of the biggest names in dance music to entertain the thousands that attend. It's the largest and longest running festival in Poland and is situated in Kołobrzeg. Those of you over in Poland will know how big this festival is and if your able to get ito it this year they have the likes of Marco V, Sander van Doorn, Ferry Corsten, ATB, Eddie Halliwell and Rank 1 all booked in to entertain the crows.
Rank 1 are not strangers to headlining big summer festivals and certainly not the task of producing a theme song for them. They have after all produced the theme song twice for the yearly Trance Energy event in Holland including this years 'L.E.D Let There Be Light' track which was used for the event back in March. Sunrise approach the Rank 1 guys and asked them to come up with a theme for this years festival and the pair were only to happy to oblige. Symfo is the track they have created for this years festival and it's big orchestral flavoured action with Rank 1's symphonic big room sound we all know and love.
The theme song was unveiled today over on the Sunrise Festival web site and you can check it out right now by heading over there. The track will be getting a full digital release on High Contrast on the 7th July (20th July for Vinyl) with extra mixes from Rank 1, Marcus Schossow and Polish producers The Prime Sins.
