The latest edition of the Gareth Emery newsletter is always worth a butchers with news this month of a brand new release on his Garuda label, details for Garuda's third club night event and all his forthcoming tour dates. His own productions have been doing very well with a remix of Oceanlab's latest single 'Lonely Girl' and a remix of a collaboration between Fabio XB & Andrea Mazza called 'Light To Lies'. Sankeys gets extreme makeover for Garuda

It may be six weeks away, but we're already starting to get rather excited about our third Garuda event this year... and given the quality of the last two, can you really blame us? To celebrate their 15th birthday Sankeys have installed a rather ridiculous multi-coloured laser, ice cannons, an LED video wall behind the DJ, and various other things to improve the club. We'll be the first trancey event to put the new club through its paces, with three hour sets from Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery and Fergie (Read Fergie's exclusive Interview). Too good to miss? We think so.

A Thousand Miles bootleg gets a release

Some of you may have noticed a rather cheeky bootleg that's been appearing in Gareth's sets since February, which brings together Terry Ferminal's 'A Thousand Miles' and Jonas Stenberg's 'Memories'. Originally made for his sets only, it gained attention at ASOT400, and since then has been supported by Armin, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and a few other trance czars. As a result, the smart people at High Contract recordings have decided to release it! No long waiting, in fact, it's on Beatport now - head over there to buy it, or check out our tasty YouTube HD preview video.

The first Garuda release was always going to be a tough act to follow, but we think we might just have managed it.
