The latest news from Austrian DJ Observer poped into the i:Vibes mailbag this week with all the latest Summer news, gigs and an exclusive guest mix to check out.

ADVANCED ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC!

As the old saying goes, there’s no time for wasting! That's not a message lost on DJ Observer, Austria’s premier dance music ambassador, who has been fully pedal-to-the-metal over the last two months. Preparing for another gig-and-music-packed summer session, he's warmed things up nicely by supporting The Chemical Brothers at the Heineken Green Room in downtown Vienna at the end of June. INTERNATIONAL DATES

Ready to take the Advanced Electronic Dance Sound to some of the biggest festivals and clubs out there (literally!), DJ Observer is already in the throes of the big summer smackdown! He’s just rocked Creamfields Central Europe alongside Above & Beyond in the Czech Republic. And as we write he’s centring himself for his debut gig at the world’s biggest club, Privilege; spinning at Juicy Ibiza night for Robbie Rivera. Then on the 24th of July he’ll be whipping it up alongside Tiësto at the Peninsula Festival in Romania. Full details of all the gigs up-and-coming are below!

DJ OBSERVER - STUDIOWORX

There’s been no half-stepping in the studio dept with DJ Observer applying all necessary pressure to the speakers! His remix of Andrew Fonda’s ’Grandma in Heaven’ has received more chunky support from various Decktitions, including Ernesto & Bastian & Nic Chagall. The new Steelfish track ’Hot Like Fire’ (produced in tandem with fellow Navida-ite Daniel Heatcliff and featuring the luminous vocals of Jenny Casparius) will be making its bow on Robbie Rivera’s Juicy imprint soon. Deep, proggy and with a side order of housey beats, its already been described by one top jock as “Van Doorn meets Guetta“. Nice!

DJ OBSERVER - STUDIOWORX // EXTRA EDITION!

With the ITWT release of ’Fake Call’ still causing floor uproar, Daniel and Observer have wasted no time on the follow up. Entitled ’Vision’, its got ’future trance anthem’ stamped all over it. They’ve also cooked up a hot-as-hell remix of Willie Morales’ new single ’Love’ as well as new remaps for Roger Shah’s Black Pearl project & Thomas Datt’s ’Mass Effect’ release. They’re all coming under their Dust & Heatcliff handle and are heading shop-bound very shortly indeed. Last and by no means least, they’ve also just re-calibrated Michael Dow’s ’Live is Sweet’, which has been getting heavyweight support from Judge Jules on Radio 1.
