This latest release from weekend players offers a variation to suit different music preferences accompanied with catchy female vocals that drag you into the journey!
This is a two track remixed production...
A:Riva Remix (7.59) B:Chab Remix (9.32)
The Riva mix gives all tranceaddicts a bit more of a tough journey. It all starts out with a guitar'esque melody to set the mood. The introduction of the pounding bassline shows you that this track means business and is not going to be your usual trance track. It is slow building to the first breakdown-holding together the blend of the harsh bassline and soft melody. The introduction of the melodic voice of Rachel Foster at the first breakdown gives an increased ambient feel to the track which continues in stomping fashion. As you reach peak time in the middle of this track, a mini drum roll breaks the flow and the track is thinned to Rachel, the bassline and a tiny synth. This enters into the the finale and the warmth of the is yet again produced to finish off with the kick it started with.
The Chab remix does not fail any major progressive/tribal fan. It has all the elements of his previous solo productions and those of his partnership with dj nukem. From when Chab came to light with his productions, a trademark sound that devastates dancefloors has followed him. This one starts out with the usual deep bassline with the tribal drum/bongo effects echoing in the background. The tracks steps up a level with when the high hats double up with the bass. The track begins to chug with a typical moody undercurrent contrasted with Rachel, performing the same vocal. The track hits the breakdown in similar fashion to that of Riva. The beat fades and you are left with the tribal element and deep moody effects... this leaves u waiting in anticipation for what is about to happen. With a teasing increase in sound it kicks in to perform the same stunts which the rest of the track promotes. It rolls to a close with a throbbing bassline accompanied by swirling effects. Quality.
On the whole this track provides a good variation for peoples tastes. Riva mixes the hard with the ambient, and Chab mixes the progressive with the tribal. Each remixer creates their own mood which reflects previous productions. It has to be said that both tracks are well composed, as you would come to expect. Would be surprised if most of the big boys didnt play these! Highly recommended.
