The New Roger Shah Single: 'To The Sky'
The next track hot out of Roger’s studio sees him re-collaborate with vocalist Chris Jones on the scorching ‘To The Sky’. It’s a team-up that’s already seen them cannon into the Top 5 of the Dutch national charts alongside Armin van Buuren with ‘Going Wrong’ in 2008. The single got its world premiere (nicely upfront!) at Armin’s ASOT400 shows in the spring and will be out through Beatport, iTunes, TrackItDown and the Armada Store in August.

DJ Mag Opens Those Big Top 100 Doors Again!
Last year, off the back of a vortex of gigs, compilations, artist albums, singles, tours and an all-round typhoon of sound, Roger entered DJ Magazine’s Top 100, making a suitably large debut at No.58. This year we’d love to see him go even higher! So if you’ve thrown a shape at one of Roger’s gigs over the last 12 months or felt a bit of sunshine whilst listening to any R.S., Sunlounger, Black Pearl, Savannah or indeed any of his material, please take a moment to head over to the DJ Mag voting page and… support our man!

‘Magic Island - Music For Balearic People Vol. 2’
We’re right in the eye of the Balearic season now and Roger has something special prepped & set to seal summer 2009’s deal! The 2nd installment of his ‘Magic Island’ compilation series features the cream of the label’s impressively prodigious crop, including the latest and greatest floor-burners from Walsh & McAuley, Fast Distance, Sindre Eide & DJ Cosmo. As you’d rightly expect, also featured are various sun-dipped, fresh-out-the-box Shah productions, including Sunlounger’s ‘Change Your Mind’, Black Pearl’s ‘Rise’ & Savannah’s ‘Darling Harbour’. ‘Hold On’, Roger’s first team-up with Judge Jules is also on-board, as well as new collabs with Signum ('Healesville Sanctuary') and Tenishia, following up their 'You're So Cool' floor-smash with 'I'm Not God'. ‘Magic Island - Music For Balearic People Vol.2’ is out on the 17th of August and is available to pre-order through the Magic Island Webshop.

Artist Name Change = Website Change!
With the evolution of DJ Shah to Roger Shah, his new website has just gone online. Henceforth rogershah.net will be your one-stop-info-shop for all of his album, compilation and singles news as well as his worldwide gigs info. A resource to be reckoned with, it’ll feature his tour reports and community shop as well as all the latest 411 info on the Magic Island Records’ output.

The Magic Island Radio Show
Beaming out around the world, Roger’s Magic Island Radio Show has been keeping the airwaves and telecommunication cables buzzing over the last 12 months. The show goes out on DI:FM’s Trance Channel at the prime-time Friday @ 10pm CET time (just after TATW). It has also just started broadcasting on Tuesday nights on Mexico's Beat 100.9 FM station. Tune in this (and every) week to hear all the latest melodic, euphoric and Balearic trance that’s been rocking Roger’s floors.

Gig Report!
It’s been an (almost) impossibly busy time out on club and festival land for Roger over the past 3 months. He’s locked and rocked debut performances in Australia (selling out all his gigs in Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth), played Slovenia for the first time and been to the outer reaches of Mongolia to spin. Down on the beach meanwhile, he's just returned from the Festival Beach Party where he played for 20,000 madly up-for-it Poles and given a block-rock debut performance at the famous Guaba Beach Party in Cyprus (which broke the record of the longest party in the club).
