© Vandit The debut artist album under the solo guise of Giuseppe Ottaviani is due immanently on Vandit Records next month. The former Nu-NRG start is sure to hit the jackpot with this one as from a sneak preview to i:Vibes it's hot...

There is something about Vandit and debut artist album in recent years and more recently this year. Just when you think they don’t have any more artists to chuck out a debut up pops a new one and this time it’s an Italian who knows a thing about Trance. He's become more successful since splitting from the joint collaboration he made his name with 'Nu-NRG', as you don’t really hear much of Andrea Ribeca these days who was his partner in crime for the project. I think he's moved onto more techno orientated music these days and left the Trance scene behind him. Guiseppe has done quite the opposite, and gone deeper into the Trance genre to piece together some of the best records released over the past few years.

In the spirit of Troy Mcloer (The failed actor guy of the Simpsons) you may remember Giuseppe from such productions as 'No More Alone', 'Until Monday', 'Through Your Eyes' and his sizzling remix of Stoneface & Terminal's 'Super Nature'. Looking at this debut artist collection you will only find one of those previous highlighted released popping into the tracklist and just about all of the tracks in here are brand spanking new. The freedom with an Artist album is as free as you can get when releasing on Vandit which has left Giuseppe room to get very creative with the new tracks he's put in here. 'Unplugged' is one new track you may be surprised with as it drifts away form the expect Ottaviani style and slips in some techno funkiness. You'll know what I mean by that when you hear it!

Aside from his own productions you will still find some collaborations in here with Giuseppe teaming up with Gate 4, John O'Callgahan and US Trance star Tom Colontonio. The colab with O'Callagahan is particularly good with the pair striking up a massive big room breakdown followed by a scintillating melody!
