 There are changes a plenty over at the Intuition label with the re-launch of the Intuition Radio Show this month and two very hot new releases on the label from Andrea Saenz & Robots Memory and trance hot shot Carl B...
The Intuition Radio show is going back to the format that made the first 150 episodes such an essential audio exhibit. Since 2008 the show has been a monthly affair not the two hour weekly edition that came before it Menno has decided its time to take the show back to its roots, weekly! That’s the main news from this months Intuition newsletter with the official re-launch kicking off on the 2nd September (That’s tonight if you’re reading this today!).
The New Intuition Radio Show Re-launch!
The Intuition Radio Show resumes broadcasting once a week, every week from tonight Wednesday the 2nd September. You can catch it first on the mighty DI.FM network at 23.00 CET (that’s 17.00 EST). If you miss that, you can also put ears to it on ETN.fm at the weekend-readying time slot of 20.00 CET (14.00 EST). To welcome it back to its old position, the 151st episode will be a bursting-at-the-seams XXXL Episode with guest-mixes from Leon Bolier and Airbase. Menno will of course also be close at hand to bring you the latest musical missiles that have been making speaker-cables glow white-hot at his gigs over the last few weeks. If you prefer your music on the move, selected shows will also be available every month as a ‘podcast pack’, available to download through iTunes or at www.mennodejong.com.
ADE: Intuition Invites… Coldharbour and Garuda
It’s now just barely six weeks away… yep, ADE is racing up on us fast! Ready to set the canals of Amsterdam (musically) ablaze, the Intuition Invites Coldharbour & Garuda boat party takes place on Thursday the 22nd of October. The participating labels will be ever so well represented by Menno de Jong, Markus Schulz and Gareth Emery, who will all be spinning extended sets aboard the good ship Ocean Diva. Its 3 big labels, 3 long super-immersive sets, 1 big ship and the very best music you’ll hear throughout the conference. What’s not to like about that!?! Andrea Saenz & Robots Memory ‘To Amsterdam’ [Intuition Deep]
A herald for ADE perhaps? Columbia’s Andrea Saenz and Robots Memory are this month’s Intuition Deep debutantes. Conjuring up a sleek, tightly produced prog edifice, ‘To Amsterdam’ is a hyper-atmospheric prowling number in its original ‘Unplugged’ form. The Robots Memory & Tacoman Remix meanwhile puts on a space-face and gets more celestial in its outlook. Who’s being playing it? That be: Sander van Doorn, Ronski Speed, Bart Claessen, Topher Jones, Maarten Hercules, Menno de Jong and a whole lot more.

Carl B ‘How Things Could Have Been’ [Intuition Recordings]
A man with an always-euphoric inclination, Carl B ply’s the floor with carnivorous, vociferous beats, heart-searing strings, before bringing things to a head with a mighty uplifting lead-line. On his mix of ‘How Things Could Have Been’, Sied van Riel wheels out the big beats, thunder ridge bass and scything synths. Skyscraping stuff to give summer 2009 a big send-off! Who’s playing it?
