Has Belgian legend Push aka M.I.K.E. done it again with his new release 'Tranzy State Of Mind' or will his streak of success end with his latest release? If you haven't had a chance to listen, or even if you have, check this out!

Who of you hasn’t heard the name Push yet? With his impeccable releases like ‘Universal Nation’, ‘Strange World’, ‘The Legacy’, ‘Till We Meet Again’ and ‘Cosmonautica’.
If you listen to any of those tracks then you will know that the name Push means quality, uplifting, anthem like trance. And I have to say that he has done it again. His latest release doesn’t fail to deliver those emotions when you listen to his other productions.

The record contains 3 tracks:
• Tranzy State Of Mind (Club Mix)
• Tranzy State Of Mind (Original Mix)
• The Legacy (Svenson & Gielen Remix)

Tranzy State Of Mind (Club Mix).
This is the whole reason why you will buy this 12”. The Club Mix has got to be the best mix of this. You could hear this on Armin Van Buuren’s show ‘In A State Of Trance’ as a worldpremier.
It immediately takes you into the atmosphere of a club, where you can hear this as one of the highlights of the evening. Real trance, no cheese here. With a melody, that is of the same magnitude as The Legacy, enchanting, dragging you into Push’s world. And then of course the vocals, nothing more then a robotvoice who says ‘tranzy state of mind’, hence the name of this track.
This is one dancefloor destroyer, that has been caned by Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Judge Jules, and the rest of the big jocks will follow suit.

Tranzy State Of Mind (Original Mix)
This Original Mix can be found on his album ‘From Beyond’ and is a lot trancier, and less anthemy then the Club Mix, but it is a good track.
This mix starts off with a nice beat and a little bit of the melody, but most of it is still concealed, and won’t be heard till later on. After about two minutes, more and more of the layers can be heard and you will release that this track is equally good as the Club Mix. It is just not an anthem like the Club Mix. And in the breakdown, there’s a little bit of basic breakbeat, which is nice. After the breakdown, all the different layers come together and form a gem of track.

Last but not least you have ‘The Legacy’ (Svenson & Gielen Remix).
This remix could be heard on a lot of Johan Gielen sets, and everyone liked it a lot.
It begins with a beating, and a pulsating sound. And after a minute, you can hear a slow melody, which gets louder and louder with every repeat. You just think ‘this is nice’. And after a minute of that melody, another melody kicks in, the melody used in the Club Mix, and then you realise that this mix is too good. Svenson & Gielen have made another perfect remix.
It seems that they have the gods with them, because they produce one remix after the other, and all share the same standard of quality.

My overall impression of this release was: QUALITY, if you like Push his other releases then you will LOVE this one too. Another quality release from one of the leading labels in the world, ‘Bonzai’.
