This track has gotten a lot of airtime on Armin Van Buuren his show ‘In A State Of Trance’, and was known as ‘Artist Unknown’. It just has been released on Digidance, and will it nurture your needs?
When Armin does his show, he only uses tracks that are quality, or like he says, ‘trance with the golden edge’. So that’s his opinion on all the tracks he has played in his show. And he has played this track in 4 different shows, labelled as ‘Unknown Artist – Reaching Out’ (Digidance). Last week, it had a full release on Digidance as M-Diva. The persons behind M-Diva are Phil Wilde and Nina Babet, totally unknown to me, but it wouldn’t surprise me we heard a lot from them in the future.
This new release is one that will top a lot of dance/trance charts. The vinyl comes with two mixes:
• Original Club Mix • Instrumental Club
Original Club Mix This starts of directly with a nice beat, and some layers. And you immediately think that this is going to lead to something beautiful. Especially after around 30 seconds when there’s another layer being add, that just emphasis the whole track. After adding that layer, you can hear the actual melody. It’s kinda made of bells, with a lot of variation. Then comes the breakdown, it’s a typical ‘hands in the air’ breakdown, but then the vocals kick in. A woman singing, her voice is perfect for the breakdown. And the lyrics aren’t cheesy, like dozens of other songs. But they actually mean something. And then you have it, all the layers come together, vocals, beat, melody, … PERFECT HARMONY.
This is a must-have track.
Instrumental Club. This Instrumental Club is actually identically the same as the Original Club Mix, just without the vocals, and it is a little bit shorter. Maybe this will be better to drop while you are spinning in a club, cause it doesn’t have the vocals. Some people will think that the vocals are cheesy, but I like them.
There you have it.
