W&W October Update

Just a little bit of information for you guys if you've ever wonder why the pair known as W&W are known as that. The production team behind the alias are a couple of Dutch guys called Wardt van der Harst (Also behind Wardt) & Willem van Hanegem. I think that explains it all. They have plenty of news this month with there tech trance sounds getting into more play lists by the day and are certainly a name to watch out for.

W&W Remix ‘Damager 02’ & ‘Arctic Globe’

Regarded as one of the all-time great tech-trancers, a couple of months ago W&W were hard at it in the studio remixing Scott Mac ‘Damager 02’. Re-frying it (Tempura-style, we think!) to collosal effect, Wardt and Willem’s interpretation will finally be out through Magik Muzik / Black Hole Recordings in October. In other remix-happenings, they have also just taken Orjan Nilsen’s ‘Arctic Globe’ by the horns and given it a might good dust-down and freshen up. That’ll be out on Cloud9 before the end of the year.

W&W vs. ADE

W&W will be landing at the Amsterdam Dance Event on the 21st of October and delivering just the right measure of floor damage at the Threesome event. Willem and Wardt will be playing the closing slot (03.00 – 04.00) in the most excellent surroundings of the Escape Studio & Lounge, and there’ll also be Cosmic Gate, Sean Tyas, Leon Bolier and other trance stars in close support. Willem & Wardt Hit Romania

Injecting even more mania into Romania, W&W will be making their debut appearance in the country next month. Dealing deck damage duo-style (all the ‘D’s there!), they’ll be taking to the turntables on the Trance Vibrations tour which rolls into Bucharest on the 13th and 14th of next month. In-country? Don’t miss it!

It was a big night in downtown Wuppertal last month as in typically deck-wrangling form, Wardt and Willem joined Woody van Eyden & Friends for a big time trance throw-down.
