2009 is definitely the year of Dutch hard dance-act Showtek. After years of 100% dedication to their music, they have proven to be on top of their scene. Holland’s most important hard dance export-product is about to start a huge world tour which will lead the brotherhood of Janssen to all different angles of the planet...
SHOWTEK – WORLD’S LEADING HARD DANCE ACT RELEASES 2nd STUDIO ALBUM "ANALOGUE PLAYERS IN A DIGITAL WORLD"
The kick-of for this international tour will take place on the 24th of October, when Showtek launches the official release of the brand new album “Analogue Players In A Digital World”, the successor of the first artist album in hardstyle history.
Showtek truly is the world’s leading hard dance-act. This is underscribed by an endless list of international awards: during the Hard Dance Awards in 2008 and 2009, “FTS” and “Hold Us Back” were honored to be “Best Track”, Showtek won the award for “Best Hard Dance DJ” and the duo won the Beatport Award for bestselling hard dance track of 2008. Also, Showtek was the first hardstyle act in history to prepare an Essential Mix for BBC1 Radio. In the mean time, even Hollywood discovered the talents of Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen: their production “Raver” was put on the soundtrack of the international blockbuster “Brüno”, the movie by Sacha Baron Cohen. This led to an enormous international exposure. Besides all of these achievements, Showtek sold out solo-nights for thousands of enthusiastic fans from Australia up to Europe and even the United States of America.
The follow-up to “Today Is Tomorrow” has been finished and is destined to have a worldwide impact: Showtek has pushed the boundaries of harder dance once again. The influences of their international gigs and listening to various other styles of music have had their impact on creating a new epidemic for the clubs. “Analogue Players In A Digital World” features sixteen brand new tracks, including collaborations with leading vocalists like MC DV8 and Dutch MC Stretch. Due to the worldwide success, Showtek has set up a world tour to celebrate the release of their second album together with their fans. After an insane summer schedule making more airmiles than a pilot working overtime, the hard dance-icons will travel to various continents to spread the hardstyle-virus. The world tour will lead them to citys like: New York, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Sydney, Madrid, Vancouver, London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Zagreb, Vienna, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Glasgow and this list goes on and on! (more dates tbc)
The start of the international tour will take place on October the 24th, when Showtek presents her brand new album to the world in the North Sea Venue of Zaandam during the Saturday of Amsterdam Dance Event. In cooperation with party promoter and producer Art of Dance, the official release party of “Analogue Players In A Digital World” will be the place to be for all hard dance-addicts over the world. Showtek has the honor to be the first hard dance-act in Amsterdam Dance Event’s history to host an evening in its history. More information on the release party is available at www.analogueplayersinadigitalworld.com. On this website you will be able to check out some exclusive previews of the brand new album.
