DJ OBSERVER: ADVANCED ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC!

It’s October – not that you needed us (or your calendar) to tell you that – but in dance-land it does mean one thing above all others: ADE! DJ Observer is Amsterdam-bound for the conference & festival this week with a fresh batch of hot new productions tucked under his arm. Read further down the page for more details of his goings-on over there! Wolfgang waved a fond farewell to a truly massive summer, playing at the T-Mobile Bonusz with Ferry Corsten, Booka Shade & Dave Clarke in Budapest at the end of August. It’s a busy as hell in the run up to the festive season too (with 10 gigs before the end of November!) so whether you be in Austria or Amsterdam , make sure you check out one of the nights!

DJ OBSERVER - STUDIOWORX

It’s been officially designated ‘Remix Month’ in the DJ Observer and Daniel Heatcliff studio over the last 31 days and the big tracks have kept jumping of the mixing desk! The pair have remixed-up a storm on ‘Silent Sun’, Tom Cloud’s latest opus for Black Hole and they’ve also completed the remix-swap that started with Alex Dion’s rework of DJ Observer & Daniel Heatcliff’s ‘Vision’. They’ve reworked the Dutchman’s ‘Wunderpants’ track into a floor mesmeriser and keeping things in the family, Daniel Heatcliff’s ‘Phoenix’ has also come under the remix gaze of Obsi. Last and by no means least (whatsoever!), the pair have just finished the final tweaks on their biggest remix of the year - Cosmic Gate’s ‘London Rain’. That’ll be out on Black Hole before the end of 2009.

ADE Vs. A.E.D.M.

In what will be Obsi’s 3rd Amsterdam Dance Event in 3 years, our deck-slinging hero will be bringing the best of their Advanced Electronic Dance Music to the event. He and partner-in-crime Daniel Heatcliff will be spinning the tunes that matter at the Flashblack (Flashover / Black Hole) event on the Wednesday of the conference. If you’re in Amsterdam yourself, get down to the Paradiso Club on the 21st to check them in action alongside the likes of Robbie Rivera, Richard Durand, Breakfast, Daniel Wanrooy & JES.
