It was one of the best artist albums to be released during 2008. Now its back as a special edition with a second disc featuring remixes of every track by the likes of Sean Tyas, Ferry Corsten and Gareth Emery...
In recent months Bobina has been claiming to be the best Trance DJ in the whole of Russia, although that may have been a promotional gimmick to rustle up DJ Mag Top 100 votes. It's not far from the truth though as on top of your head how many big name Russians do you link with Trance? He may have been a little quiet on the production front in recent months but he's for sure working on a sequel to the brilliant 'Again' that had such classic tracks like 'Lighthouse', 'Spinning' and 'Time & Tide'. His style of Trance varies form big vocal uplifters with huge balearic guitar riffs in, like you can hear in 'Time & Tide', the strings are top draw in there, to the more progressive euphoric works like we heard in 'Lighthouse'. if you missed it first time round then never fear, because the remix edition is here.
It's becoming a bit of a trend this year for artists to released remix editions of their new albums after Ferry Corsten and Solarstone releasing remix editions of their latest LP's. One thing their editions did not give you though was the original album which is one element of this release from Bobina that I like. All the original tracks are here in full from the album but bolted onto that is a remix disc featuring every track from the original. The remix edition comes with mixes from Ferry Corsten, Sean Tyas, Heatbeat, Gareth Emery, Paul Miller and Genix just to name a few and each has put their own flavour to the tracks. Not that they need remixed to be honest but I think you will find the remix disc to be every bit as enjoyable as the original.
