One of the old guards in dance music has been selected to mix together the 38th edition of the Global Underground's flagship mix series. Its Mr Carl Cox spread over two discs of techno enlightenment...
The passion and drive for dance music that Carl Cox still shows is inspiring. He has been around for over two decades and there is not a country or club you could name that he hasn’t played in. He has been a leading figures on the Techno scene for years and still is driving fresh sounds into his productions and mixes. There is no sign of the big man slowing down as his tour schedule is looking like cracking out some serious air miles into next year. Who knows, maybe he will pop up on the big screen again as he did in the cult classic Human Traffic. Thankfully his DJ skills are a world apart from his acting skills as has been proven by his track record over the years.
He is one of the daddy’s of Techno and it's fitting that he should be mixing the 38th edition of another long running essentiality within dance music. That is of course the Global Underground compilation series. It's the compilation that has given the Global Underground brand the reputation it earns today as one of the biggest progressive, house and techno labels going who have an eye for underground electronica. The double disc mix from Carl features over 30 tracks with new one's from Fergie, Jon Rundell, Giu Boratto and Guy J. It's not out until next year but we always like to give you the heads up on the latest releases so pen this one in for late January as its hitting the stores then.
