It's been twenty years since the formation of legendary house music label Strictly Rhythm and to celebrate the landmark they will be released a very special remix compilation next month...
Over the past Twenty years one of the most rubberstamped and influential house music labels Strictly Rhythm have been feeding the scene with some very fine house music. Things may have evolved to how they get their music to you with the new digital media formats changing the way people access and buy music but one thing that has not changed with it is the quality. Smooth, soulful and uplifting house has been top of the Strictly Rhythm agenda for the best part of two decades and they think its time to celebrate this with a new double compilation.
It's a collection of the finest material the label has had to offer over the years but its not as you would initially expect. It's been remixed by artists hand picked by the label who simple asked them 'What's Your Strictly Rhythm?' Up to the challenge of the question are Bob Sinclar, Klaas, Mark Knight, David Tort and Henrik Schwarz just to highlight a few. In asking the question they let their illustrious past archive of audio classics open to a fresh new remake. The results are spread over two discs and sit as a very fitting celebration of the house music label that will be celebrating many more decades on the scene in years to come.
