John 00 Fleming mixes up the latest Euphoria installment which features classics from Moby, Faithless, The Future Sound Of London, Sasha, Way Out West, Sander Van Doorn, and many more...
HISTORY OF TRANCE EUPHORIA MIXED BY JOHN 00 FLEMING RELEASED 11th JANUARY MINISTRY OF SOUND
Trance - the most dominant form of dance music on the planet, the music of choice for the world’s biggest DJs, and the style that ensures any album bearing its name a guaranteed spot in the higher echelons of the compilation charts.
Euphoria – the first and last word in dance compilations. Who better to recruit John 00 Fleming to compile the most comprehensive and on point collection ever of trance?
History Of Trance Euphoria looks back from the time that trance first impacted on the UK and worldwide club scenes. CD 1 begins from its early roots in house, techno, through to infamous Goa Trance, CD 2 moves through the Progressive movement in the 1990’s as the sub-genre found its own identity during the superclub era, and CD 3 profiles the beginning of its worldwide domination at the end of the decade and the early Noughties.
Artists and remixers include Moby, Sasha, Way Out West, Faithless, Sander van Doorn, Art Of Trance, Tilt, L.S.G, John’s own Digital Blonde project, Grace, Man With No Name, Astral Projection, Juno Reactor, Humate, Breeder, Planisphere, and many more.
Back in the 1990’s, a young DJ called John 00 Fleming was moving beyond hardcore and techno, taking the British South Coast by storm at clubs like Brighton’s Zap, with his brand of tough but melodic dance music, packing in discerning crowds in their thousands. His sets highlighted the burgeoning trance scene, and laid the foundations for his career as one of the UK’s most successful trance DJs.
Flash forward to 2010, and John is fresh from having headlined the South American Music Conference, the Boombox tour of Australia with Godskitchen, and Nocturnal Wonderland in Los Angeles where he played to an incredible 80,000 people. On the production front, John has been busy remaking the classic Jean Michel Jarre cut, ‘Oxygene’, which comes with the full blessing of Jean Michel himself.
